RADIO PRESENTING

Alexinder presented his first ever radio show on RAW 1251AM, whilst he was studying at The University of Warwick. Since then, he has presented on a number of commercial radio stations in London and more recently, on national radio stations BBC Radio 1 & BBC Asian Network.

Anthems (December 2021)

Alexinder was selected as part of the BBC Radio 1 Christmas Presenter Search 2021, from a pool of over 1000 applicants, to present two live shows. His first show featured one hour of Chillout Anthems, followed by three hours of the best from the year 2000 and aired on Boxing Day between 8am - 12pm. His second show featured the best of 2003 & 4, on the 27th December between 10am - 2pm

The Evening Show (June 2022 - present)

Alexinder presents the Evening Show every Monday from 7-9pm. Expect to hear the latest in Pop, Chart & RnB (as well as some throwbacks thrown in for good measure!).

ASIAN FX

The Saturday Riyat (June - December 2021)

Alexinder presented 'The Saturday Riyat', the station's Punjabi & Bhangra specialist music show. The show often featured first plays for the station, with new music and trending TikTok dance challenges as regular features. He also interviewed a number of artists including Gippy Grewal, Sargun Mehta, Sukshinder Shinda and Rika.

LYCA RADIO

The Desi Riyat Show (June 2020 - January 2021)

Alexinder presented 'The Desi Riyat Show' on Saturday evenings from 7-10pm, focused on party tunes and uplifting the public's mood during the pandemic. He also presented, compiled and self-produced the Lyca Top 20 Chart Show on Sundays from 7 - 10pm. During his time here, he interviewed big names from the British Asian Music scene including Arjun, Mumzy Stranger, Bambi Bains and Tasha Tah.

ASIAN STAR RADIO

Sunday Selection (September 2019 - March 2020)

Alexinder presented the Sunday Selection show from 7 - 10pm showcasing the latest in Bhangra & Bollywood music. Prior to that, he presented the late night show on Thursdays from 10pm - 1am.

Agony Uncles (October 2018 - June 2019)

Alexinder co-hosted a weekly chat show, Agony Uncles, attempting to answer students’ problems like the housework rota and relationship woes.
